Zauber Jewels are wondrous items which have only become available to purchase in recent times. Zauber Jewels are a combination of a Zauber and an Effigy. Magical gems known as 'Effigies' were recently re-discovered, gemstones which act as magical containers which when combined with a Zauber (a magical jewelry which contains a spell circuit) allows for one to cast the magical spells conserved within whether or not they are magicians. These items are known as Zauber Jewels, used by those unable to cast magic on their own or to further supplement by allowing a magician to cast an element he cannot naturally cast.
Zauber Jewels may only be gained through the enchantment vocation skill using all of the normal abilities and limits of that skill, certain events, and through quests/myths. Zauber Jewels are only as strong as their rank, the rank determining the strength of the spells contained within, how many spell slots are available, and how many elements are available to the Zauber as listed below. Zauber Jewels may only ever have HALF or lower of their spells slots filled with max-rank power spells, and one can only wear two at any time and usually as a pair.
