Fire - Fire is the element of burning, catching things ablaze within it's destruction. Fire's relation is one of motivation, ambition, and passion. Fire is weakened by Water as fire is doused when water is applied.
Wind - Wind is the element of the air and of the pressure of the atmosphere. Wind's relation is one of freedom, wild instinct, and anarchy. Wind is weakened by Fire as wind's current only serves to feed and fan the flames.
Water - Water is the element of moisture and the seas. Water's relation is one of adaptability, emotion, and elusiveness. Water is weakened by Lightning as when an electric current is run through water, if destroys everything water contains.
Earth - Earth is the element of the land and flora of this world. Earth's relation is one of stubbornness, stability, and defensiveness. Earth is weakened by Wind as earth is eroded by the passing currents of wind.
Lightning - Lightning is the element of electricity. Lightning's relationship is one of evasiveness and living in the moment. Lightning is weakened by Earth as lightning's current is grounded out by earth, nullifying it.
Advanced Affinities
Storm - Storm is created from Water and Lightning elements, and encompasses the creation and manipulation of storms. Storm is strengthened by Lightning and weakened by Earth.
Scorch - Scorch is created from Fire and Wind elements, and encompasses the creation and manipulation of extreme heat and evaporation. Scorch is strengthened by Wind and weakened by Water.
Snow - Snow is created from Water and Wind elements, and encompassed the creation and manipulation of ice and snow. Snow is strengthened by Water and weakened by Fire.
Sand - Sand is created from Earth and Wind elements. Sand is a powerful element said to be created by mages of the desert during experiments with wind magic. Sand Magic encompasses the creation and manipulation of sand and powers that change sand's properties in some ways. Sand is strengthened by Earth and weakened by Water.
Metal - A rare and powerful element that has only surfaced recently in the world along side the advent of firearms. The metal element is created by Lightning and Earth elements, and encompasses the rough manipulation of metal and magnetic fields. Metal is strengthened by Fire and weakened by Wind.
Magma - Formed during the earliest days of the arcane guild when the archmages went insane and created all sorts of fancy elements, magma is created by Fire and Earth, and encompasses the creation and manipulation of both lava and volcanic rock. Magma is strengthened by Wind and weakened by Water.
Starfire - An extremely rare and scarce element among only the greatest wizards, the Starfire element is created by Fire and Lightning elements, and encompasses cosmic radiation, celestial brilliance, and the nuclear flame of stars. Starfire is strengthened by Wind and weakened by Earth.
Special Affinities (Count as Advanced)
Spirit - A special element associated bridging the gap between the realms of the dead with that of the living. It is a crucial component in certain forms of healing magic, necromancy, and psychokinetic effects.
Nature - A special element associated with more than just the earth provides; the Nature Element calls upon the flora of the world of Trinor. A practitioner of Nature can manipulate vines and flowers or awaken trees to become intelligent treants.
Gravity - A special element associated with how all things with mass or energy gravitate towards or away from another. A practitioner of gravity can manipulate weight as well as affect something's gravitational pull.
