Realm Name: Rubrum Holy Kingdom
Political Leader: King Ignatius Lucis Rubrum
Military: The ground forces of Rubrum are lead at the highest level by the Grand Inquisitor, with a number of High Inquisitors serving directly underneath him. Each High Inquisitor commands five inquisitors of their own and is seen as an Army Commander, while the Inquisitors are seen as holy chevaliers and sergeants each leading a personal retinue of one-hundred highly-skilled men. Direct members of the Inqusition are seen as divine templars who serve God Vithesis and are granted sacred power from him in response.
Culture: The people of Rubrum are descended of those who left known lands for the north, superstitious that Magic would bring their downfall and thus abolishing all magic except that given by their deity. These people are also extreme zealots and their fervor knows no bound, part of their everyday lives being their daily sessions in the church of Vithesis. Necromancy and Summoning are both seen as affronts to the way Vithesis intended the world to be, and are highly prosecuted - even more than magic users are prosecuted. Anti-magic users are seen as a necessary evil to deal with the dreaded threat that is magic, and are tolerated but treated as second-class citizens. Visitors to Rubrum will never be prosecuted due to their race, however if they are from a race with natural magical aptitude then there are ten laws they must follow when within Rubrum. The kingdom's composition is mostly that of Humans and Elves, though there are also small amounts of Giants and Fae. Finally, it is the widespread belief of Rubrum that sinners need to be taught the proper way, and are often bought as slaves to serve either in the army to an inquisitor, to work the mines of Ilium, or to serve a noble house. this is seen as their path to redemption, and afterwards they are either released or allowed to become a citizen.
