Personality: Naevus is a devout worshiper and priest of Kilthys, allowing his dedication to consume most of his personality. This has in turn resulted in him becoming a bitter and dour figure with somewhat sadist tendencies, closing himself off emotionally to some degree. When seen in worship or performing service to the goddess however, he is happy at least.
Character History: Naevus was adopted into the tribes of the Shimmergloom Forest from a young age, his adoptive mother a fae while his father was an elf. Despite his human blood, Naevus was treated like family by his parents and took his father's first name and mother's surname though he rarely gained the chance to play with other children of the glade. This caused Naevus to become bitter towards the other children but was balanced out by the love his parents gave him, though as he got older he saw his parents less and less as Naevus began working for a living. Naevus was eventually exiled from the forest and took to traveling the world at twenty years old.
Naevus traveled all throughout the Kingdom of Vallinor but perhaps spent the most time within the World Library, learning knowledge of magic and the elemental beings known as 'spirits', which is where his true bloodline true heritage from. This would continue for the next twenty-three years until the Ritual of the Eldarith. Luckily, Naevus was not in the capital when it happened, he was visiting his parents. Things started to go haywire as the corruption spread to the forest and beasts began to mutate rapidly. Naevus attempted to get his family out of the forest, but he instead saw them die.
For a long time Naevus sulked in his sadness and wouldn't leave his home in Cascaida, however it was the bishop of the Cult of Kilthys that would coax Naevus out of his solitude five years later, and invite Naevus to join her congregation. Naevus joined and threw himself into his devotion to eventually become a priest of Kilthys himself. Naevus learned the secrets of death and necromancy as part of his training to priesthood, and through experimentation he learned to further his gift in necromancy than what was previously thought possible.
