Description:
No matter how diverse they may be, a Magic-Touched's elemental heritage always runs deep within them. Each possesses an inner spark of sorts; a core of concentrated elemental energy that they can bring to the surface whenever they are in need the power of their magical progenitors. When accessing this power, the Magic-Touched transforms into a state of pure elemental energy, their eyes glowing brightly and their body replaced by a whirling mass of their affiliated element with a crystalline core in the center. Their physical capabilities are enhanced according to their heritage and their body effectively becomes a weapon, able to be manipulated and reshaped to a degree that gives them enhanced combat potential. While this state can be maintained indefinitely, the mental effort of doing so puts a good deal of strain on the Spark's mind, clouding their reason and naturally shifting them towards berserker-like tendencies. They are also unable to wield normal equipment, everything on their person transforming with them and being counted as an extension of their body. Cannot revert to normal in the same turn the transformation is activated. The full effects of the transformation are as follows:
- Gain two advantages based on the user's element (Fire: 2 Strength, Water: 1 Endurance and 1 Strength, Earth: 2 Endurance, Lightning: 1 Strength and 1 Agility, Wind: 2 Agility)
- Minor shape-shifting(must maintain a total volume between half and double the user's normal size, cannot be used to reposition the user's 'core', all parts of the user's 'body' must remain connected)
- User's body counts as a weapon of one rank lower than their character rank.
- Can charge their attacks with raw elemental energy or expel said energy in projectile form(up to two feet radius), treated as a spell of up to the user's rank and costing an appropriate amount of mana.
- Reduce damage from their own element by 1 Rank(Minimum E).
- Berserk status.
- Lose all equipment effects and the ability to wield weapons, but add equipment volume to the user's total size.
- Cannot use magic that is not of the user's element.
- Attacks that hit the user's 'core' are treated as a rank higher in power.
- Take double damage from elemental attacks that the user's element is weak to.
Additionally, the Magic-touched gains one effect that is based on what element they are affiliated with:
Fire: Can manipulate any smoke within twenty feet and stand on it as though it were a solid surface.
Water: Can split themselves into two, though the half without a core cannot shape-shift and cannot be larger than the original.
Earth: Doubles their form's maximum size. Can 'solidify' themselves, reducing all damage by 1 rank but removing their ability to shapeshift and shrinking them to half their current size for the next two posts.
Lightning: Can magnetize any conductive object they are in contact with by spending C rank energy and can attract or repel themself from any such object, effectively changing the direction gravity pulls them (Does not move effected object).
Wind: Able to fly at 25% faster than the user's normal running speed.
