Nordat Caravan, the 'Wandering City'

Nordat is the closest thing to a Capital that Ascen has, a truly massive caravan that travels across the Northern Wastes, accompanying the current leader of the nation. Known as the Wandering City for it's tendency to come and go in the night, Nordat appears as a great sprawl of tents and temporary structures, a mass of bright red and orange fabric covering the normally barren landscape. It is here that the council of merchants holds its meetings, gathering within a massive fortress-like tent near the center of the sprawl. A number of mercenary guilds travel with the caravan, but it's known for being the place where the most skilled tradesmen in the nation gather.
